Many tow systems require some sort of hitch accessory to either raise or lower your tow bar so that it sits level. To determine if your setup needs an adapter, hook the tow bar up to your RV and towed car and measure to see how close to level it is. The "safe zone" for a motor-home-mounted tow bar ranges from 3 inches above level to 3 inches below. Car-mounted models must be absolutely level. This high-low adapter can provide you with the necessary drop or desired rise to achieve a level tow bar setup.

The Blue Ox 10" rise/drop trailer hitch I order from etrailer.com appears to be of the highest quality. I had hoped to find a dual-receiver hitch with a 10" rise/drop, but it appeared that the maximum available rise/drop in a dual-receiver hitch is about 4".
Not much exciting I can say about a big, heavy piece of steel, but this is another example of typical Blue Ox quality. Very well built with clean welds and good finish work.
etrailer came through again too with prompt delivery and excellent communications.

This has got to be the best high rise tow adapter on the market. It is well made with quality materials, excellent craftsmanship and comes backed with excellent customer service. I installed this lift on my Kawasaki Mule a year ago and have never taken it off. I use it to raise a log holding unit for cutting firewood. Needless to say, it gets some rough handling. It's all good and I couldn't be happier. Heavy duty is an understatement...

After a over a year of use, I still couldnt be happier. Im going to put the high rise lift to work this afternoon. My Kawasakit Mule is going to wear out long before the lift, and my mule is tough as...nails, a mule, twisted steel. Lets just say this is a great high rise adapter. And customer service is crazy good. etrailer is wonderful! Happy New Year.

The product arrived in just a couple of days after I ordered it. It is very well built as I expected from Blue Ox. It fit our motorhome's receiver perfectly and allows our GMC Canyon to be towed with the tow bar level.

We are still very pleased with our Blue OX products. We towed our Canyon to Texas, Alabama and back to Michigan last winter with no problems
My truck receiver is too tall and there's no adjustment for the hitch to work correctly. I even bought an adapter lowering the receiver but now it extends too far away from the bed to be useful.

Needed this to get my new Blue Ox Avail tow bar installed properly. Note that this adapter is almost a foot long. Make sure your trailer light cable will still be long enough to reach the towed vehicle's plug once you've installed this.

Shipping was fast, respected property and put it in a safe place for me. The drop hitch I purchased seems very stout. I think I’m gonna be happy with it. Well, look good product looks good and a nice hard powder coat finish.
I needed to lower my ebike carrier when using it on my motorhome. This 10" hitch adapter makes it much easier to load/unload the bikes.
The price was competitive and the delivery was quick. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Great product, well built, and shipped as requested. Some say when we we arrive, we have made it to our destination...We say when we arrive, our destination is yet to be determined. Moon Walker ( our jeep) has a new bridle.

Without question the best product for this application as of this date on the market period!
I recently bought a new truck. My wife's wheelchair ramp was to steep and difficult to load her chair.
I ordered the 10" drop receiver and it was a great investment. Rugged construction, beautiful finish and looks great on the truck.
No longer do I struggle to load her chair. I ordered it and was at my door step in 2 days. Outstanding service, I will order from you again for all my trailer or ramp needs again.

I think this was the best thing i have invested in in a long time for it works on my truck and to haul more on my Polaris ranger with my cargo rack that i bought for my Ford F150.
